Gretel Zanotti’ “FW 2018/2019” Collection is a tribute to women’ emancipation in Middle-East.
Today, women’s role is not at all symbol of subjugation and oppression but represents an important life-style, particularly through the Fashion, picture of an endless beauty and charme.
Gretel’s adventure into creativity started during her trip to South Arabia, where she met Shadia Alem’ art; in his works, he describes the particular relationship he has with East and West and the Beauty of that world.
She was impressed from this culture, and decided to go deeper into its shapes and details. During that journey, Gretel was inspired by in Abu Dhabi by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Looking at collection, completely hand painted by the Stylist, the mind goes immediately to its interior decorations (the flowers, in particular, have been painted with a nineteenth-century technique).
The collection colours go from red-ruby to Saharian-sandy, from natural white to elegant black, perfectly represented with cashmere and pure Indian silk turbans. All textiles are excellent quality hand -made, the style is simple and sober but at the same time elegant and enriched with details.
A charming but simple style, a timeless elegance that makes Woman unique.
