Always driven by every form and artistic representation, interpreted as an expression of the most intimate and hidden "I", Gretel Zanotti approaches, despite her young age, the study of the history of art with a particular interest towards the Renaissance.
Creative and talented, thanks to her artistic training, she soon approaches the world of fashion and decides at just 20 years of age to embark on a journey aimed at the material representation of her vision of art, through refined creations and high tailoring.
Positive and determined but endowed with a sensitive soul, she decided to literally put herself naked, transferring her personality, strong and fragile at the same time, into her creations, mirror of her idea of femininity and delicate sensuality..
Eclectic and fascinated by the details of a painting, a photograph, a sculpture, an architectural work she transforms them into sources of inspiration.
The creative process begins with the interest in a particular artist/designer or an artistic current. The study and research of dominant leitmotivs and the various forms of expression, are then reinterpreted by her creative flair and transferred, adding his personality and identity, in the world of women's fashion. The lines and the cuts of the clothes, entirely produced in Italy and in a totally tailor-made, with precious fabrics and materials are combined with new artistic techniques and result in a clean, simple and minimal garment.
Thus was born the Donna Gretel Zanotti, a woman of character, sure of herself but also aware of her own shyness and fragility, which she overcomes with elegance and with determined sensuality.
A classy woman who knows how to seduce without having to discover too much, true, practical, constantly moving and attentive to details.
