Italian Version
Nel primo step di questa avventura da me intrapresa con il fine di comunicare con voi e aprirvi le porte della mia azienda, vi ho raccontato di come la preparazione artistica che i miei studi mi avevano fornito fosse risultata imprescindibile per il mio percorso lavorativo.
Questo risulta particolarmente evidente se si presta attenzione ai dettagli dei miei abiti, che rivelano le fonti di ispirazione da cui il mio lavoro creativo si è lasciato guidare.
La mia volontà di fare della moda un’opera d’arte mi ha portato dunque spesso a chiedermi:
“Qual è un soggetto che, nei secoli, non è mai stato abbandonato da pittori, scultori e musicisti?”
Beh, nella storia dell’arte è praticamente impossibile imbattersi in un creativo che non abbia preso ispirazione dalla natura e alla sconfinata varietà di bellezza che essa offre.
L’artista, da sempre, studia la natura nella sua perfezione e nella sua armonia e da essa ricava: canoni, misure, proporzioni, utili per la realizzazione ottimale delle sue opere. La natura è, dunque, la rappresentazione della bellezza divina e non solo in senso teorico e diretto prettamente al versante culturale, ma anche in senso pratico e legato ad una genuina quotinianità: a parer mio, niente è pargonabile alla meraviglia del cielo sconfinato, dei prati fioriti e delle onde del mare e mi perdo sempre in questa meraviglia quando ho bisogno di un momento di fuga dalla realtà e sono alla ricerca di ispirazione.
Nella collezione SS16 ho introdotto i miei primi capi dipinti a mano. Osservandoli attentamente potrete sicuramente notare il richiamo alle spendide rappresentazioni naturali di Sandro Botticelli e, in particolar modo, a “LA PRIMAVERA” e alla “NASCITA DI VENERE”: opere dal valore inestimabile e dalla bellezza sconfinata ed intramontabile e che risaltano l’ideale di donna che vorrei comunicare anche io attraverso i miei abiti. In qualche modo ho cercato, nelle mie creazioni, di "reinventare” la natura, in modo da porle omaggio e ringraziarla.
Ho tentato quest’opera sperimentando con i tagli, i colori e le consistenze che ho dato ai miei vestiti, ma anche attraverso i disegni che vi ho dipinto personalmente.
Tutto questo viene dal mio obiettivo principale, che è sempre stato permettere, alle donne che scelgono di indossare i miei vestiti, di mandare un messaggio di bellezza personale, unico ed inconfondibile a chiunque le circondi. Quale miglior modo di farlo se non trasformarle in una versione propria, unica e speciale di “Madre Natura”? Immagini di donne rappresentanti madre natura, o la madre terra, sono senza tempo ed io voglio rendere senza tempo le “mie” di donne, le mie muse, le destinatrici di tutte le mie ore di lavoro e dei miei sforzi creativi.

Devo ammettere che questo progetto non è semplice da compiere, molte volte dopo un primo bozzetto mi sento insoddisfatta perché magari non sono riuscita a mettere bene su carta il progetto che avevo in mente. Può sembrare banale da dire, ma portare la bellezza immortale della natura su stoffa non è affatto un lavoro semplice! Ritengo che sia una bellezza talmente pura ed eterea da essere quasi inaccessibile da riprodurre. Diventa un processo molto laborioso e da affrontare utilizzando un approccio metodico e certosino, non smettendo mai di valutare opportunità nuove che potrebbero rendere il risultato il più accurato possibile.
Vi assicuro, però, che il gioco vale la candela!
Ad ogni servizio fotografico, infatti, mi emoziono sempre notando come le mie modelle, con l’aiuto dei miei vestiti, siano capaci di comunicare sensazioni multiple che richiamano in modi differenti la purezza della natura.
Guardarle mentre si mettono in posa per realizzare lo scatto perfetto, mi porta alla mente in modo istantaneo la delicatezza di un fiore, l’infinita serenità di un paesaggio, la libertà dell’oceano, il sogno di un cielo o i brividi di una brezza. In momenti come questi realizzo che il mio progetto sta prendendo davvero forma e che sto lavorando nel modo giusto, un modo che mi porterà a raggiungere il mio obiettivo e a realizzare il mio sogno più grande.

My desire to make fashion a work of art has often led me to ask myself: "What is a subject that, over the centuries, has never been abandoned by painters, sculptors and musicians?" Well, in the history of art it is practically impossible to come across a creative who has not taken inspiration from nature and the boundless variety of beauty it offers.
The artist has always studied nature in its perfection and harmony and he derives from it canons, measures, proportions, useful for the optimal realization of his works. Nature is, therefore, the representation of divine beauty and not only in a theoretical sense and directed purely to the cultural side, but also in a practical sense and linked to a genuine everyday life: in my opinion, nothing is comparable to the wonder of the boundless sky, of the flowery meadows and sea waves and I always get lost in this wonder when I need a moment to escape from reality and I am looking for inspiration. In the SS16 collection I introduced my first hand-painted garments. By observing them carefully you can surely notice the reference to the splendid natural representations of Sandro Botticelli and, in particular, to "THE SPRING" and "BIRTH OF VENUS": works of inestimable value and boundless and timeless beauty that highlight the ideal of woman that I would also like to communicate through my clothes. Somehow I tried, in my creations, to "reinvent" nature, in order to pay homage and thank it. I attempted this work by experimenting with the cuts, colors and textures that I gave to my clothes, but also through the drawings that I personally painted there.
All this comes from my main goal, which has always been to allow women who choose to wear my clothes to send a message of personal beauty, unique and unmistakable to anyone around them. What better way to do it than to turn them into their own, unique and special version of "Mother Nature"? Images of women representing mother nature, or mother earth, are timeless and I want to make "my" women timeless too, my muses, the recipients of all my hours of work and my creative efforts. I must admit that this project is not easy to carry out: many times after a first sketch I feel unsatisfied because maybe I was unable to put the project I had in mind on paper. It may seem trivial to say, but carrying the immortal beauty of nature on fabric is not a simple job at all! I believe it is such a pure and ethereal beauty that it is almost inaccessible to reproduce. It becomes a very laborious process and must be tackled using a methodical and painstaking approach, never ceasing to evaluate new opportunities that could make the result as accurate as possible.
I assure you, however, that it is worth the trouble! In fact, at every photo shoot, I always get excited by notcing how my models, with the help of my clothes, are able to communicate multiple sensations that recall the purity of nature in different ways. Watching them as they pose for the perfect shot brings instantly to my mind the delicacy of a flower, the infinite serenity of a landscape, the freedom of the ocean, the dream of a sky or the chills of a breeze. In moments like these I realize that my project is really taking shape and that I am working in the right way, a way that will lead me to achieve my goal and to realize my biggest dream.
